There’s A Rose Outside My Window

Published on August 7, 2015 by MorrighansMuse1 Comment

There’s a rose outside my window
And I almost missed seeing it like I did the other two
As I took the time to look at it, I wondered –
Of all the beautiful things  I’ve missed doing all the things I need to do.

This Rose

This rose, it grows outside my window
greeting the sun before I wake.
Tiny buds that open so
sweetly with each passing
hour of the day,
surrendering –
giving in
to the
din
