I’m a poet and an author of eleven books ranging from women’s fiction to contemporary and erotic romance. After not writing for almost ten years, I returned to writing via blogging my poetry here in 2012 and chose the Celtic deity of war the Morrigan as my online name with the intent never to let anyone stop me from writing again.
Daily prompts rejuvenated my writing mojo and brought me back to that “happy place” I’d always longed to return to. I do best writing poetry or short stories, not so much with personal pieces; I’m terrible in that department.
Among my favorite authors are Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, Harold Robbins (yes, that Harold Robbins from the 70’s, my first introduction to novels when I found three books hidden on the top shelf of the family library), J.K. Rowling, Frank McCourt, Anais Nin, John Ajvide Lindqvist (Let the Right One In), and Michel Farber (Under the Skin).
When it comes to romance, I love works by Corinne Michaels, CD Reiss, and the late Jessica Davis Stein who wrote Coyote Dream.
