I’m not as agile
as I used to be–
there are just too many words
wanting to get out of me

so many things
I want to say
it simply depends
on the mood of the day

for sometimes
I just want to disappear
in a world where
everything is crystal clear

where yes is yes
and no is no
where nothing’s too fast
or too slow

where gentility lives
and love still reigns
but that’s long gone now
depending on the day.
