The Things He Left Behind

the things he left behind
sit on his favorite desk
masculine and so refined,
so tempting; it’s hard to resist
touching them beneath my fingers,
feeling the cold steel and worn leather
everything reminding me of him
and his unrepenting tether

      1. Forget the watch, I’ve been known to haul my sorry butt halfway across town because I left my phone on the kitchen table.
In Pittsburgh that was saying something. lol

      2. That’s me, too LOL I had a boyfriend haul his sorry ass 30 miles back to my apartment once because he left his Omega watch behind.

I'd love to hear what you think!
