Bathed in the remains of the day
she lays quietly, undisturbed
ruminating on the life we’ve lived so far
wondering what awaits us in this world
so many questions,
so many lies
as she seeks for answers
from behind my eyes
so she lays quietly like she always does
capturing the last of the sun’s rays,
pondering the future that lies ahead of us
till she closes her eyes, and lets her dreams stray
a bit disturbing
Thanks for stopping by! I do love ambiguous poetry 🙂

At least he didn’t ask if she was mad. Smart man.
Smart man, indeed.
