Beauty #2

It’s the same drawing, only this time with her hair all colored – on my iPhone app called Sketch This. I’m calling her Paige, for one of my characters in my just-published novel Loving Ashe.

Yep! I did it! I went ahead and published my novel yesterday and it’s a bit bittersweet and scary and awesome all at the same time.

I miss writing my poems but nothing’s coming out just yet. Guess it’s because there are other things I need to do first. Like hitting that Publish button – and planning out my son’s summer.

Somehow the idea of a five-year old and me this summer has the makings of a comedy of errors.

  1. Love the artwork and congrats on publishing your novel. Now for some memories to laugh about later when your 5 year old is a grown man visiting his mom. “Remember that summer when…” 🙂

    1. Exactly! I’m the mom who plans out the trip to the pool and even have my own swimsuit on and all the pool toys and drinks and food and then when we get there, I look at my poor kid and realize I forgot to pack his swim trunks. Then it’s back home again…

      1. LOL! Before fashion rules were enforced at pools, my mom took off my T-shirt, socks, and shoes and left me in my fashionable shorts then told me not to run on my way to my regular drowning practice. I think she was cheating on the laundry. 🙂

I'd love to hear what you think!
