After spending time with a group of people, do you feel energized and ready for anything or do you want to hide in the corner with a good book?
Photographers, artists, poets: show us PERSONALITY.
Today I got to spend time with a good friend from the Thai Yoga / healing part of my life. I drove 65 miles to meet her at a friend’s house where she was teaching Herbal Thai Yoga bodywork to a small class of four students. And because I overshot my destination by 10 freaking miles following my iPhone directions (I’m so useless now – and to think I once mastered the Thomas Guide), I ended up missing our lunch and ended up sitting in for the afternoon teaching session.
It was such a wonderful four hours with her and new friends that I never once whipped out my iPhone to check my email, or even take one damn picture. I got to receive bodywork from one of her assistants and it made me realize just how many moves I’d forgotten or simply tweaked to make my own.
We caught up with each others’ love lives, surprising ourselves when talk went to a special massage for women that awakens what E.L. James calls her inner goddess (most likely the equivalent of the popular ‘happy ending’). It even made us wonder what the hell got us to that topic? Who knows? We can be a strange bunch…
So now after that rejuvenating get together and a twisty drive through Mulholland Drive and the 60 mile drive home, I’m here sitting on my sofa eager to continue finishing my Camp NaNoWriMo novel, at the same time wondering how on earth do mind-blowing orgasms work? It was something my friend said that made me go, hmmm, so does that happen to me? Where can I learn all this stuff?
Which means instead of being the type to hide in the corner with a good book, I’m gonna sit here and try to write one, and maybe include some mind-blowing orgasms – once I figure what the hell that’s supposed to feel like because if my friend is right, I might be doing it all wrong 😉
